Working towards three positive outcomes for Singapore

The Labour Movement and its tripartite partners are united in their belief that maximising the use of every worker will lead to three positive outcomes for Singapore – a Cheaper Better Faster economy, a Singaporean core of workers, and inclusive growth.

Highlighting this at the May Day Rally held this morning at Downtown East, NTUC Secretary-General Lim Swee Say added that to achieve these outcomes, the Labour Movement had recently regrouped its unions and associations into clusters to focus its efforts by industry.

"We have decided that cluster by cluster, we are going to play our part, work with our tripartite partners, and achieve the three outcomes – Cheaper Better Faster, Singaporean core and inclusive growth," he said.
